- Role of music in the Civil Rights Movement- listened to "We Shall Overcome" and talked about why it was the anthem of the movement. Then broke into groups and analyzed a specific song. Groups then shared their song.
- Activity- Civil Rights Movement timeline: everyone got either a picture or description of an event from the CRM. Found the person who had the matching picture or description. Then partners found out which event they had and when it happened. Finally, as a class we created a human timeline of the events and shared what they were.
- Discussed the final exam- study guide is available from a post last week. You can have all period, no music until you are finished.
