- Daily Opener
- Activity- Truman vs Eisenhower. Working with a partner read section 3 of chapter 20 for information about assigned president. Then as a group of 4 discussed similarities between the two presidents. Finally, as a class we created a Venn Diagram of the information.
- Reviewed for the test on Wednesday- handed out study guide
- Turned in B level task.
*1950s Unit test is Wednesday and A level task is also due that day.
** Tomorrow there will be link to a practice quiz for the test!

- Watched an episode of Leave it to Beaver and I Love Lucy. While watching took notes on how the shows portrayed families and women. Discussed afterwards.

- Activity- Life magazine photo analysis. In a small group you looked at two different photographs from Life magazine, filled out the photo analysis worksheet, and wrote a paragraph comparing the two pictures.

- KWL Chart- divide paper into 3 sections, label them: K, W, L. In the K column list what you know about the 1950s, in the W column list questions who have about the 1950s. The L column is for what you have learned- fill out as we go through the unit. Discussed the K and W columns.
- Video- The Way We Were. Filled out the L column as watched video and discussed afterwards.
