Monday, December 7th

1. Daily Opener
2. Activity- Truman vs Eisenhower. Working with a partner read section 3 of chapter 20 for information about assigned president. Then as a group of 4 discussed similarities between the two presidents. Finally, as a class we created a Venn Diagram of the information.
3. Reviewed for the test on Wednesday- handed out study guide
4. Turned in B level task.

*1950s Unit test is Wednesday and A level task is also due that day.
** Tomorrow there will be link to a practice quiz for the test!

Thursday, December 3rd

I was gone, here is what the sub was supposed to do...

1. Daily Opener
2. Watched an episode of Leave it to Beaver and I Love Lucy. While watching took notes on how the shows portrayed families and women. Discussed afterwards.
3. Worked on C and B level tasks. B level is due on Monday!

Tuesday, December 1st

1. Daily Opener
2. Activity- Rock-n-Roll music. Using the information provided, worked in groups of 2 or 3 to create a poster about assigned artist/group. Presented poster to class with a musical clip.
3. C level tasks were due- did oral defenses.
