Assignment: Write an Acrostic Poem using one of the following words:

• Atomic Bomb
• Homefront

Your poem should demonstrate your knowledge about WWII.

1. How to take Cornell Notes
2. Notes- Introduction to World War II
3. Worked on presentations for next class- remember to either email me your PowerPoint or bring it on a flash drive.

September 16th/September 17th

Went to the library to continue researching World War II topic.

Due Date:
4th Period- Wednesday Sept. 22nd
5th, 7th, and 8th periods- Thursday Sept. 23rd

1. Syllabus and World War II vocab due today.
2. Seating chart- pick your own seat for the semester
3. Began World War II Research Project- picked group members and topic, went to the library to begin researching. Presentations are due on the 22nd for 4th period and the 23rd for 5th, 7th, and 8th periods.
