Activity- 4 Square: The Cold War Heats Up
Directions:

1. Divide your paper into 4 squares.
2. Square 1: Either turn the titles in the section into questions OR create new tititles.
3. Square 2: Either create a graph, chart, or table from the reading OR write and answer questions about a graph, table, or chart in the reading
4. Square 3: Pick 1- create an illustration, symbol, or drawing based on the reading OR create and answer questions about a picture in the reading OR create a dialogue for a picture in the reading
5. Square 4: Pick 1- make connections to another time in history OR develop "what if" statements OR relate the text to a personal experience OR compose a metaphor or simile
